That sounds good Mallosa wish I was going , it's a bit far from Yorkshire, let's know all about it when you have been.

Just got back Annie and it was great!
When we first arrived it was bitter cold and it started to snow slightly, after a while we realised it was fake snow, which we thought was rather a nice touch.
Carol singers all in traditional costume in the village, loads of people just milling around taking in all the atmosphere. Was talked into having a couple of glasses of mulled wine, as you do!
Stopped at the pig roast, even though we'd all been for a meal!
Popped in to the Bottle and Glass Inn, where everyone sat around an open fire singing traditional christmas carols.
We had a thoroughly nice time and to top it all, it started to snow massive flakes and this time it was for real. Even people that worked there said they had never actually had snow in the village before
People were so friendly, even one of the stall holders at the fairground came over and placed a cuddly toy on our 5 mth old grandaughters pushchair, smiled and walked off.
Got back to our cars and finished off throwing snowballs at each other, the grandchildren thought it was great!

Thank you for that Mallosa how I wish I could have been there I love things like that, the fake snow was a nice idea in fact every thing sounded good and the carol singers I love carols .
I will look out for your photo's they will give me a better idea of what it was like I was thinking it would be inside the museum.

O'k I have posted some photos but I'm afraid they're not very good at all 
For some reason my camera kept saying the battery was low but even after I inserted brand new ones, it still said the same - think i need to have a word with Father Christmas
Had to use Hubbies camera and haven't got a clue what I did wrong, but as I had promised I would upload them, I'm afraid they'll have to do

Thank you for sharing those Mallosa I thought they were lovely, it brings it alive when you have some photo's to look at, the pig roast looked done to a T.
I like the way some where some dressed up , and the paper chain trimming we were only talking about how we used to sit and make those when we were children, really enjoyed them Mallosa.
