got an unknown to find...who is she?

John Shaw, head, 44, Shingler(?)
Rebecca, wife, 38,

All born England

If anyone has free access to 1911, that would give the number of years they were married, which would let us narrow down the marriage in the GRO index. They don't appear to have married in the Black Country as I can't find them on the West Midlands BMD site

linell has here buried c1900 and edith c 1904 ?

I can't see a local marriage. According to BCC, Rebecca died 1900.

But the one who died in 1900 was born about 1859, but on the 1891 census she was born about 1853.

But there is this marriage,

Interesting....so is that Edith marrying

No she didn't die, I found this in 1911; 55 Graingers Lane Cradley Heath:-

Can you check the Biggs Marriage NL, to make sure Edith's father was John a Shingler.

Ok have added that and have deleted that date of death

So are we any nearer knowing who this rebecca is?

This could be the right one, on Ancestry it says age 33 in 1891.

Hi NL, I never found a Marriage for John and Rebecca John was previously Married to Caroline Deeley.

It looks like this is Caroline's death reg.
