With Christmas day fast approaching do you dread the...

I was lucky enough to have had a wonderful Mother in Law :grin:
We got on great. Sadly she passed away almost 12 years ago.
I dont know how my daughters partner sees me :? Ok I hope, he does call me Mam so I cant be too bad :roll:
Saying that I only have 3 children but at least another half dozen call me their other Mum :? :lol:

my MIL or Senior Management as i call her is brilliant,
has never interferred at all and makes a mean apple pie!!

Like Jo I also had a lovely mother in law who sadley is no longer with us, was very helpful with out being overbearing or the interferring kind. :grin:

I will be first to agree the my MIL was a much better cook than I every will be . :oops: :wink:

I've got mine here tonight and as i speak they are singing , my wife and my Mother in Law !1

I lost my MIL of 35 years just last week. We never had any major falling out in all that time. We had some great Christmases with her and my father-in-law and my parents, so she will be missed. Sadly, she had Alzheimers and didn't know any of us for the last 5 years. Only my Mum left now of that generation in our family, quite sad really.
