Hello List my main area's of research in this area are the marriage of Benjamin Willetts and Phoebe Mason. I have a death certificate from Cambusnethan,Lanarkshire ,Scotland. The deceased was Benjamin Willetts aged 54 in January1909 the above were the parents . He never married but had several children to a Jane Clive, I wonder if she knew his parents as the children did not know he was their father except when they saw their birth certificates
which stated he was the father. The husband of Jane Clive was a Thomas Clive from West Bromwich son of Mary Clive and Isaac Timmins. The other name I am researching is Thomas Marriott bapt June 9 in Amington I believe is in Warwickshire, Thomas grew up to be a Custom's Inspector. Thomas was the Son of Thomas Marriott of this Parish,and Elizabeth Bennett also of Amington were married by licenceon the 9th September 1818 by Jonas W Hey both signed their names, the witness's were Rachel Wood and Richard Bennett. I noticed Someone asked where I found the parents of Benjamin Willetts. I have the death record from Scotlands People , I now have doubts about his fathers first name being Benjamin ,It could be Jane just used Benjamin as his name was Benjamin . Phoebe I am confident with as he named his first daughter Phoebe. Mason I am not so sure of, I ran this question on another list called Halesowenroots .com that had Willetts trees and they checked and reckoned it was George and Phoebe Martin as they could not find Benjamin. I would like to verify this so I can add to my tree.

Hi Bob, that's my Willetts tree on Halesowen Roots, Phoebe Martin Married Thomas Willetts. Phoebe born 1822 Wednesbury, very near West Bromwich. Thomas was born Halesowen 1820, but moved to Wednesbury with most of his family. They had a son Benjamin born 1851 Wednesbury, this information is all on our BCC tree. Linell.
