ARC TBC - Mary Harper and Thomas Dod(d)

Trying to stretch my direct Dodd lineage beyond this pair.
Thomas Dod(d) and Mary Harper married on the 14th September 1775 in Kinnersley, Shropshire.
There are three Banns published in Edmond register on the 27th August, 3rd September, 10th September.
It says....Thomas Dodd of this parish and Mary Harper of Kinnersley parish
Only one Census record exists for Thomas. in 1841 he is living in Cherrington as a spritely 90 year old. That means he is born around 1751 somewhere in Shropshire.
He died in Cherrington in the last quarter of 1841.
I have no information about Mary Harper at all except she was living in the Kinnersley parish at the time of the wedding.
I have had no luck finding the Parish register quoted by the I.G.I entry.
ANY help would be appreciated....
P.S. Do not mix up Kinnerley and Kinnersley. They are nowhere near each other...

Kinnersley it is. Both on the Banns in the Edgmond register and the I.G.I.
I have the Kinnerley register and the marraige did not take place there.
Slight change....Thomas died in the 1st quarter 1843 in Cherrington....

Thanks for the link.
I have a couple of thier Cd's and the coverage for Kinnersley is poor. The other parishes are well done though!

The surname Dodd probably goes back to Devon as I am researching DODD in Devon

The biggest concentration of Dodd during the 19th century is in Cheshire, followed by Lancashire.
The concentration of Dod is almost entirely Cheshire and then Shropshire and then it gets converted to Dodd after the 1860's.
These are the Welsh Dod(d) families. The meaning of Dod being "small, fat and round." Hence the Dodo Bird.
The Dodds are concentrated in Northumberland and Durham with a good number in Yorkshire.
These are the Scottish Dodd(s) families.

Still a HUGE brick wall.
Just a couple of days ago I found some Harper's living in the general area who married into another Shropshire Dodd line.
I might find some answers looking into that tree....
