I think Emily connects to Richard Cooper here, they are both from Illey Halesowen if my memory is correct, remember doing this tree years ago

Did find two Emily Cooper's in 1861, only one born in Halesowen, the other born RR.

So Annie Cooper the dau is not on this census...
she should be b abt 1882

So Emily the mother could be unmarried and then marries Henry

How do we know mother is Emily Cooper to Annie?

here is marriage for Annie need to look that up too see if any father on
or might say single mother which it does sometimes

but where is Annie in 1891 or 1901

Hi NL, have these notes on Annie Elizabeth Cooper:-

In 1901 Annie is living with her Widowed Grandmother Mary Ann Cooper nee Bateman born 1843 Illey Hunnington Halesowen. Annie says her father was James Cooper on her Marriage Entry.

I was given the info from her Granddaughter, she definitely Married Henry Willetts.

Will have a look for Annie in 1891.

Ok so we dont need that look up as we have the "father" named as James

so this one below may be ours then?

and Annie the dau puts G.father down as father

so if Emily that marries Henry Baker has father James
does that tie it in as same Emily?

Emily Cooper aged 25 born Halesowen is a Servant at 'The Bird In Hand Inn' Spinners End Cradley Heath.

So Emily can't be the wife of Henry Baker as she was still single in 1891
