Looking for information on Daniel Smart's ancestry, born in Dudley about 1824. Father and Mother were James and Eliza. He was married twice seemingly; first to Mary Davenport who died young and then to Mary Ann Williams. My gran Bertha was his daughter.

In general I knew everything that was told to me, having already gleaned a lot from other family trees and census information on Ancestry.co.uk. I am pretty sure that Eliza Flavell was Daniel's wife and until now have never seen the spelling 'Flavett'. It is Daniel's forebears that interest me.
Evoy/Evey/Evy/Savinia/Lavinia certainly married a Walker and moved to West Ham. She is found later, back with her parents either as a visitor or as a widow.

hi migrant i would send for evoy birth cert to be sure if i was in your poss as you cannot always rely on anyone research but your own just use ancestry trees as a guide line unless there willing to send you copies of cert to verify it after confiming evoy mothers maiden name i would send for a copy of that marriage to see who were the witnesses if it is the correct one pete.

If her name is Flavell (which it prob is and the above trans misspelt) then this marriage can be looked up
that may give you some wits as said
but you do need to verify it is Eliza Flavell.
