The fine was for causing litter not for feeding the ducks!!
There's nothing worse than people who throw their rubbish on the ground! Even worse are people who spit their chewing gum out of their mouths and try to kick it before it reaches the ground!! Terrible.

With you in the chewing gum spitting Rob - though I've not seen anyone try and kick it.
It is plain mean to fine this woman, they should have just asked her to stop.
There is a pond in the centre of the city here with ducks and geese. The geese are a bit pushy and messy but the main problem is the seagulls in the summer. This year the council decided to ask people to stop feeding the ducks (they don't need it in the summer anyway) but then the seagulls took to the streets and were a total pain.

I agree Gardener over the top I think.
Not sure legally how they stand but if there were no notices saying you will be fined £75 if you throw
that bread ....then I reckon she can tell em to stick it....she has to use her loaf!
Especially if she aint got the dough to pay it!
Crumbs!! sorry!!
I really hope she wins this, we have all fed the ducks with our kids, and I take on board
that they have to have their own source of food or become too dependant on humans, and it doesn't
do their insides any good apparently.
Oh and Rob enlighten us about that gum episode and who actually did it and how someone was told off!

I think it's disgusting £75 fine for feeding the ducks

, a pensioner near us got a fine for feeding the birds in the park £50 , she can feed them before 6.30 am or after 9.00pm with out getting fine , so what difference does the time make.

What difference does time make asked Annie.
With the coming of Relativity, it has now become clear that the measurement of time is not the same for all observers. It depends on the relative speed of the observer, i.e., the measurement of time depends on the physical condition of the observer. This has become necessary to preserve the law of physics unchanged under all conditions, i.e., remain invariant under all circumstances. This is the great contribution of the Theory of Relativity and in its treatment "Time" loses its absolute nature. The fact that different observers have different standards of measurement, especially noticeable when they reach a relative velocity approaching that of light, gives rise to many paradoxes, but all these happen only if the observers have a relative velocity approaching that of light, which, for the human system, does not seem possible.
That´s time Annie!!

Talking of head cameras!!
I bought a head torch last week. You know, like a miners helmet .Anyway its great for all those jobs you may need to do in dark cupboards or underground.
Strap it on your head and you have light and both hands free to do with them as you will.
A brilliant idea or what?
Wish i'd thought of it!!

Right Rob I won't argue with you, about what difference does the time matter there was a reason but can't for the life in me think what it was now.
