are there 2 of them?
born about 1861/2/3

I was sure father would be an Alfred and it was a Thomas for this one that married Caroline

that thomas has to be wrong

That is the only I can see, I cant see another one in 1861-1871 or 1881.

not the first time registers are incorrect
he might be an alfred thomas?

I am tempted to connect to alfred with a note

I have spent a couple of hours and I still can't find another Emmanuel born any where near the same time.

But there is a Thomas out there,
