Have a scottish DOB and need to find out which area of scotland from, anything like freebmd that covers scotland

person and dob is

Margaret Arnott 16 - 12 -1902 if all else fails, then will have to get marriage cert ?

There are 9 Margaret Arnotts born in 1902 in Scotland. I can't see the exact DOB yet as I don't have any credits left on Scotlandspeople, but I'll add some when I get back from Tai Chi today and have a look. Don't send for the marriage yet. Where was the marriage?

So sorry, Pete. I had a look at 5 out of the 9 born in 1902 before I ran out of credits again. Then I realised that since the birth was in December, it's quite possible that Margaret's birth was registered in early 1903.

i get marriage cert jo it will be easier with it

You cant search records with Parents names for the years 1855-2006.
If it happens that you get the father we can check fathers names from whats been viewed at no extra cost.
