I am adding info to BCC from someones tree who sadly passed away and checking as I go of course.

But ahead of the marriage look up for this Elizabeth Brown it is bugging me
I think this must be her married name
so wondered if we can suss it out

also the Grandson of Elizabeth marries a Mary Ellen Brown I wondered if it loops back in so a double link?

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =100120489

I think on one census she had a George Brown living with them
can we find some census for this couple Elizabeth Brown (b 1821) and hubby John Jay( b 1825)
I think it is her second marriage

If she had a grand daughter in 1881, them she could have been married before, or had a least a child out of wedlock.

So Edwin has father George and mother Mary
Edwin is b abt 1818

So chasing back this John Alfred Brown b abt 1872 with father a John Brown maybe a Grocer (maybe b abt 1830)
John Brown father might be a cousin for Edwin?

or John Brown the grocer might be another son for George and Mary
