After waiting 10 weeks, I have just received a copy of my mother's birth certificate and from the information on that I have managed to find some details of my grandmother and her father. I have enough information to send away for my grandmother's marriage certificate but that is going to take another ten weeks. To speed things up I would like to apply at the same time for my great grandfather's birth certificate. I wonder if anyone could help me with information on this part of my family. This is what I know so far . . .

Elizabeth May Gossage b.1894 Liverpool married
Thomas Thompson in 1911 at St Jude's Church, Liverpool (and in 1922 when my mother was born they lived at 119, Towson Street, Liverpool).

Elizabeth's father was Thomas Daniel Kempster Gossage.

Primarily I would like to get Thomas Daniel Kempster Gossage's birth and marriage certificate's but any other info on these people and their extended family would be gratefully received.

Can I know where the above info comes from. You start with the date 1901, is the info from a census return? Does that document give an address?

And again, can I know where this info came from? Does it suggest that Thomas Daniel Kempster Gostage was born in Ellesmere and is that the same as Ellesmere Port, Cheshire?

From the 1901 census.
I don't have full access to the census's but if you have, it should give the address.
