I think it is a brilliant idea NL, give us all one look up per day, and the big BCC Family Tree would soon be done  Just make sure Rob pulls his weight :!:

Listen i'm not giving up let's make that clear!! Oldbury lads never give up!!
But...
You,and i'm talking about the girl from up north, have obviously given me this assignment on purpose!!
I have never seen so many variants to a name!! And me a "Variant Seeker!!
Simcox,Sincox,Simpcox,Sincock,Sincop,Simcock the list is endless.
No weddings on Ancestry,Free BMD,UKBMD before 1837 so how do i find out who Benjamin Simcox married?
I'm nearly certain that his wife was called Mary but how do i prove it?
So....reluctantly i pass the task over to someone else!! Linell,Jimmy The Cat?
The stage is yours i relinquish the floor.........

Come on Rob, you can't throw in the towel just like that  Try this one, see if you can find them on the 1841 Census, if not the 1851, that is easier to search.

BENJAMIN SIMCOX Marriages:
Spouse: ELIZABETH WAREING Family
Marriage: 31 MAY 1814 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England

And there are so too earlier marriages on Ancestry.
What about the 1538-1940, the OPRs?
And then there's the FamilySearch site.
Don't give up so soon! (Looking stern)

It is hard this one..... and there is another couple with a George Simcox a Benjamin and Eleanor

This one says Shrops but that could mean under Halesowen at this time
it says extracted but then goodness knows which church.
I can't remember if areas of West Brom were under Shrops ( will look at an excellent list in the local history section.... )

George Simcox
Christening: 21 MAR 1819 , Shropshire, Parents:
Father: Benjamin Simcox Family
Mother: Eleanor Simcox
Extracted

then this one

BENJAMIN SIMCOX
Marriages:
Spouse: ELEANOR BAILEY
Marriage: 25 DEC 1808 Saint Martin, Birmingham, Warwick,
Extracted

but cant be sure on any of em

any clues on later census on George Rob
who is living with them
other names of Kids

He puts Gornal Wood on his marriage doc but that doesnt always mean ought

but worth a look for a Benjamin Simcox on the 1841
he is dead by 1860 so the 1851 try too
he is down as a steel converter....
