Hi,
I'm trying to firm up my Longstaff ancestors. I'm starting with George Longstaff.
What we know so far:-
George Longstaff was born 22 March 1860 in Barnard Castle.
His parents were
William Longstaff b c 1837 Pellington, Lincolnshire (although Pellington does not appear to exist?)
Winifred Hogan b c1839 Wakefield, Yorks
We have a marriage for William and Winifred in Teesdale 1859.
We also have them in the 1861 census but can not find William, Winifred or George in the 1871 census.
I have George Longstaff's family in the 1891 and 1901 census but not the 1881 census
So I would like to know:-
1. Anything about William, Winifred and George between 1861 and 1881.
2. Did George have any siblings?
3. Anything about the parents of William and Winifred
cheers
Bob

Hi
No we're heading down the wrong path. I know about Georges married family (see my original post). His wife was Catherine Ann Bowman and they married in 1883 in Hartlepool. It is George's siblings and further info on parents (see original post) Im after.
