Hi Peter, have just about recovered from my holiday thanks

Couldn't open your archive link. Here's another one from the Bugle;-

Yes definitely need that Time Machine, can't even find his mother or parents Marriage? Can someone find James Grove and family in 1871 please, maybe missing some children, my book mentions an Ernest Henry? Not found him yet. All entered up so far:-

Thanks Di, that's brilliant, yes the Harris family, owned a Button Factory, James Grove did his apprentership there, he then went onto to have his own business. I am very interested in Phoebe Silk as I have a Mary Silk, 7x Gt Granny, she was born about 1720 though, but the Silks were few and far on the ground, so could be a connection there! grove halesowenclick on to open it up, then click on
read on line in view the book on the top left hand side
if you type in halesowen on its own you can view the 1559 - 1643 parish register as well this should help with researching this
