Does anybody have John Dodd 1755-1821 or John Dodd 1802-1866 in their tree.
They were quite wealthy farmers from Bagley in Shropshire but can appear under Elssemere and Hordley.
Not knowing if they are related to my line or not, I asked the Church curator if he could take some photographs of the Dodd family tomb at St Mary's in Bagley.
I read about this tomb when searching the National Archives for some other information.
The curator cleaned the tomb and other Dod graves (this is when they transitioned from the single D to double D) dating back to the early 1700's and took some fantastic photos for me.
He also photgraphed all the Dodd entries in the church register.
He placed them here so other can access them.

I have started tracing this Dodd line and they end up in Shifnal.
