Ok I have done a look up for Pd

and the father for John Weston says John weston chainmaker

we have Samuel Weston and I think that is correct.

I think either I have copied down the father incorrectly or the entry was incorrect.

On census John married to Dinah puts Dudley wood in 1881
in 1851 Samuel weston and son John are in Dudley Wood- Samuel is a chainmaker

the dau of Samuel Mary is I believe one of the witnesses and marries a John Southall in 1868

Hi. NL....Been away from Comp..

I have copy of Birth Cert. for Samuel b. 12 Sept 1874. stating mother Dinah,
formally KENDALL...reg. 20.9.1874.


I have on a 1991 Census..another John WESTON b.abt 1850. Dudley.
married to Jimmima..they have children Nehemiah and Samuel b. abt 1885.
they happen to be living next door to Myra b.1824 wife of Samuel b.1825.
But I can't see any relationship !! and I don't know who they are.

I have a copy of Samuel & Myra's Marr.Cert.

it says John on marriage
and should say Samuel

I think Sparks you might have the marriages mixed up

ie if you say that on the 1891 this John Weston is living with a Jemima next door to Samuel and Myra then that could be the correct line!

I think we might have a John Weston that married Dinah Kendall and that John Weston had father John Weston

and

I think we might have a John Weston that married Jemima HOmer and that father is actually the Samuel we want with mother Myra

and if that Mary Weston, the witness at the marriage of a John Weston and Dinah, dies in 1869
then she is not sister of the John who has Samuel as a father is she.
So she may be the sister of the one with father John or another rellie

need that look up on the Jemima one
cos somat aint rite!

1871 and 1881 Census has John (Dinah) son of Samuel and Myra WESTON listed
as a Chainmaker.....I don't think he would have changed his occupation to
General Labourer as listed for John (Jemmima) in 1891 Cens.....especially as John(Dinah) is
down as a Chainmaker on 1891 Census.

Birth Records show 3 John WESTONs born between Jan/Mar 1850
All in Dudley..Vol.XV111. Pages 259, 279, 307.

Ok I have looked up the marriage for John Weston that married Jemima Smith Homer and ....
father is a Samuel

so we have 2 John Westons and I am switching the Johns around

John Weston with father Samuel married Jemima
and
John Weston with father John married Dinah

So this is now completed
and I will post the link shortly
