Hi all
According to my DNA I'm 17.7% Dutch, which it would seem much come from a grandparent. I can trace all bar one grandparent back several centries in England. The one I can't get around is my mum's dad, David Beale. The only information I have on him is that he was supposedly born in Wednesbury, West Midlands, in 1898, and died in Halesowen in 1959. He married Elsie Adams and had two sons and two daughters. I can't find any parents or siblings for him, so I'm tempted to believe that he is the source of my Dutch DNA, having arrived here as a child and his parents passing away before he wed.
I'd really like a steer to where I can get some more information, as I'm new to this. I lost my mom this year, and she was the sole remaining child, so I've no one to ask.
Any help gratefully received.
Russ

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
