*Arc tbc* ---Wassell/Wassall

Post by Sarun4519 »

I accidentally stumbled across the "Samuel Wassell, VC" posts. The address Moor Lane must have been home to many Wassall as well as Charles families. I have traced my grandmother Enzie Charles and her 13/14 siblings who lived at Moor Lane. Her sister Matilda married John Wassell in 1894. I still have a letter that their daughter Dora Wassell wrote to Enzie (from I think about 1942). I would love to hear from anyone who might know of this branch of the Charles/Wassall family.

From what the letter said I think Dora Elaine Wassell married Samuel Hughes in 1915 and they had five children, the youngest, Elaine born after Samuel passed away in 1932?
