Enoch was invalided home 13th March 1916 suffering from Bronchitis, and stayed in Reading War Hospital. On 15th April he was thought much improved and was transferred to the Convalescent Hospital at Woodcote Park, Epsom. After only 2 days here, he was moved to the County of London Hospital at Epsom, where he died on 26th April from a cerebral haemorrhage. He is buried in St. Woollos Cemetery, Newport.
An army form completed in 1919 stated his mother as Mrs Hannah Morgan of 18 Pugsley Street, Newport, Monmouthshire, and his married sister Sarah Dinham was at the same address. His father had already died.
