Alexander Andrews , Driver 77629 31st Bty. 35th Bde Royal Field Artillery Son of Alexander and Martha Andrews, of 27 Montrose Street, Wolverhampton. Killed in Action 15th September, 1916 age 24. Memorial Thiepval Memorial Somme France

Arthur William Keatley , Private 16180 1st Bn. Leicestershire Regiment Son of Arthur and Mary Keatley, of 31 Hawthorn Rd, Blakenhall, Wolverhampton. Died - 15 September, 1916. Aged - 22.
Memorial - Thiepval Memorial - Somme, France.

George MacPherson , Lieutenant 4th Section Machine Gun Corps Son of George and Hilda M MacPherson, of "The Lloyd House", near Wolverhampton. Educated in Lockers Park and Winchester. Died - 15 September, 1916. Aged - 20.
Memorial - Grove Town Cemetery, Meaulte - Somme, France.

William Henry Mills , Lance Corporal 18455 1st Bn Leicestershire Regiment. Son of Mrs. Eliza Ann Mills of 51 March End Wednesfield Staffs. Killed in Action 15/09/1916 age 25.

Son of Albert and Susan Inscoe of Lorne Terrace Church Rd Bradmore
Killed in action September 15th 1917 age 21
Johns battery had 100 shells around them ready to use when they detonated at 7.40pm

Thomas Tranter , Private 4861806 1st Bn. Welsh Regiment Son of Thomas and Minnie Tranter of Wolverhampto; stepson of Martha Tranter of Wolverhampton. Died - 15 September, 1944. Aged - 30. Memorial - Caserta War Cemetery, Italy.
