Newbie to the party!

Hi all, I started my family tree about 15yrs ago when my first born arrived and it has been holding for a long time now. A colleague recently started plotting hers and made me think about starting mine up again! I’ve got to the point where all the info I already have is on there - and now I’m working back. I really don’t know where to start! I’m starting with my mums side of the family, working backwards from her parents - her dads mostly as they seem to be a huge family! Interested to learn more! If anyone knows any of the Kent (Tonbridge, Hadlow, golden green…) Fermors please get in touch!
