Hello from Western Australia

Hi everyone,
I stumbled across this forum in a google search! My ancestry is almost solely from the UK and I mean England, Scotland, Wales and both Ireland and Northern Ireland, with a sprinkling of Iberian Peninsula and Western Europe.
I started my family history research back in 2008 after my mother told me she had no idea what happened to her paternal grandmother. We still don't know and I will be posting in the Brickwalls board to see if anyone can help at all.
I love genealogy and not only do my own but also take photos for Find a grave and help friends begin their research. I like doing this because it gives you a break from your research but your skills don't get rusty.
As I said in the title, I live in Western Australia and was also born here in the wheat belt.
Surnames I am interested in are: Hamilton, McLean, Braid, McDowell, Clark from Ayrshire, Scotland, Beadle, Sell/s, Heames and Sharp in Kent and Middlesex, England. Thomas and Davies from around Glamorgan in Wales, Donovan, McCormick in Ireland and , Hamilton and McDowell in what is now Northern Ireland.
I look forward to checking in every few days.
