Hi All,

I'm Mike T from Cradley, currently living north of the border. I'm also new to family history, but discovered in a few clicks that Black Country Connections has my paternal tree going back to 1500 - job done!! However, it would still be nice to add some more details.

My paternal g/father William TIBBETTS was born in 1880, the son of Thomas Adams TIBBETTS and Sarah Jane Lucretia BISSELL.
His wife was Sarah Elizabeth PRICE, also born in 1880, the daughter of Alfred PRICE and Ellen HOMER.

My maternal g/father Harry (Garnet) COLEY was born in 1889, the son of Charles COLEY and Jane COLEY.
His wife was Nellie BARTON, also born in 1889, the daughter of Jacob BARTON and Sarah Ann BASTERFIELD.

Hope this info helps the data pool.

My wife is also tracing her SINGLETON family tree in Lancashire, so I'll add a post to the General forum.

Regards,
MikeT

Hi Mike Welcome to the forum
we can work at getting you on board the Black Country Connections team
so that you can add your data yourself

Another Tibbetts cousin I think!
Do post in the Black country genealogy section for any from that region
maybe put one of your queries in there and we can start to run with your branch and help you further.

For any other regions then do post in the General discussion

good to have you on board

Ooh, Mike! Just had a look at what we have of your tree on Connections. There's lots of juicy stuff there to be delved into. Welcome to the family!
