I have found the following family on the 1881 Census, could someone please have a look at the actual image ?
'Radey' Smith? Surely that can't be her name - can't find her on the 1871, any ideas?

William Smith 40 Head Gen Labourer Whitelsea, Cambridgeshire
Ann Smith 42 Wife Walsall, Staffs
Edward Smith 18 Son South Hall, Middlesex
Jobe Smith 16 Son South Hall Middlesex
Radey Smith 17 Dau Dudley, Staffs
Ann Smith 11 Dau Middlesex, London
Daniel Smith 8 Son ( I think it say Burslam?)
James Baseet 28
Edward Corta 35
Samuel Seatney 35
Henry Hillard 22
Alfred Reader 20

I have tried to find her on the 1871 census but no luck even tried to find a marriage, I don't think she is a member of this family young Ann is my paternal grandma and the older Ann is my g.grandma, in 1871 census Ann and her children were named Faulkner and living with her husband Job Faulkner who died in 1876. Ann married William John Smith in 1880.

Any idea's or help will be appreciated. :-)

I don't think she is a member of this family ....... Ann married William John Smith in 1880.

Could "RAdey" be a daughter of William from a previous marriage?

Hi Maths Girl

William was a batchelor when he married or so said , Ann said she was spinster and that was a lie, I have followed William through the census years and he always puts unmarried and there's never been a wife with him or a daughter. I do appreciate your idea's all the same, I've been searching for a Kadey but nothing comes up. :(
