Hi there, My name is john.
They say lightening does not strike twice in the same place. I beg to differ!!
I got a lot of help on here back in 2021.Regarding my wife's biological father. Thankfully that resulted in a pretty good outcome. all things considered.
I now find myself asking for help For what now has turned out to be my half sister.
She recently did an ancestry DNA test. Only to discover at the age of 57 she has a different father to myself. And, was left to believe otherwise.
We have discovered her Paternal grandmother was a lady called Ellen Hoyle.Who Lived in Queensbury, Bradford, West Yorkshire.
We are struggling however to pin down a paternal grandfather.
We do have a couple of Names as Ellen was married twice. The second time she was already 4-5 months Pregnant. "To the man she married ? we just can't say" No disrespect intended.. The highest DNA match on my sisters Paternal side is either a Half Cousin. or weak first cousin match at 629 centimorgan's.
If anyone is kind enough to try and help I would be so grateful.and willing to share any further info you require.

if it was a half first cousin then a parent would be half sibling to her father if it was a weak full cousin then it would be a full sibling to her father you need to find out the children Ellen Hoyle had and DOB then you might able to trace fathers through the GRO search or Free BMD have you searched for a census or a marriage for Ellen?
