I will appreciate it if someone with access to FindMyPast can help.

I am in South Africa and interested in the Longland folks that emigrated from UK to South Africa. Saw a record on FamilySearch in which I have an interest. Details from FamilySearch are :

The record I am interested in is available at Migration : UK Outgoing Passenger Lists 1890 - 1960
Name : Mr Longlands, Male, 27 years, Birth 1867
Travel place : Cape, South Africa
Single, Emigration
Event date : 5 April 1894
Event Place : England

I am actually looking for a Longland who "surfaced" in South Africa on which I have nothing, except that he was born about 1867. So maybe this is my Longland??? The spelling of Longland vs Longlands is however a challenge, as spelling of surnames was not always correct. But in my case there is a family Longlands vs my interest which is Longland.

So I will appreciate some help and hoping that the record on FindMyPast reveals more information than the "references" to this event on the FamilySearch website.
