Asylum help...Lincolnshire

Hi All,
apologises if this is in the wrong section.
My 2x great grandmother died in Rauceby Asylum(previously Kesteven Asylum) in 1918.
I have contacted Lincolnshire Archives who did some research, and the only mention of her they can find is her burial(which I already knew).
The Archive staff think that she may have been put in the Asylum as she was dying, but this doesn't seem correct to me, the Asylum was miles from her home(Oundle Road, Peterborough), and a hospital in central Peterborough would have been a lot nearer.
Also, her cause of death was ''exhaustion from mania'', so evidently she was in the correct place.
Does anyone have any idea where else to try, what else I can do? I'm at a total loss...
Her name was Eliza Jane Reedman(nee Hills) 1875-1918 known as Jennie
Thanks in advance
