Isaac Brownhill was the youngest son of Isaac and Louisa of 2 Brown Street, Kates Hill. He was a regular soldier with the 1st Battalion of the Worcesters and wasserving in Alexandria befor August 1914. The Worcesters soon returned and in October moved to the Western Front near Neuve Chapelle. The sudden transition from a hot climate to the cold and wet Artois was painful and many soldiers suffered seriously from trench-foot. Sergeant Isaac Brownhill was one of many who were sent to a miliyary hospital at Rouen but he died on the 24th November 1914. He was 28 years of age and is buried in St. Sever Cemetery (A I 19) and commemorated on the Dudley and Kates Hill Memorials.

She dos'nt seem to exist before marriage.
