I have just sent for digital images of a two people called Ann Parry who died at roughly the correct time and believe I have found her death.
The GRO reference is Vol 6d page 358.
From the image Ann died 31st October 1870 age 80. Widow of Joseph Parry, Farm Labourer, cause of death: Natural decay not certified. The informant was Elizabeth Hack present at Death, Barrow Hill, Feckenham. The death was registered on 4th November 1870, the Registrar was Francis Mander.
Ann lived at Stoke Prior but one of her daughters did live at Ipsley.

Also looking at Elizabeth Hack on BCC her maiden name was Taylor and she was born in Stoke Prior in 1824 so I wonder if she was related to Joseph Taylor?

She was married to a George Hack and one of their children was called Albert.
In Nathan Taylor's photo album I have a couple of photos of an Albert Hack and wife but have never worked out who they were but this suggests that the Hack family were either friends or relatives.
I also suspect that the age on the death certificate was an estimate and that 179/3 is still correct, Ann was estimated to have been born 1796 in 1841, 1792 in 1851 and 1790 in 1861..

So you think it links in here?

I wonder as marriage says Taylor or Smith, Elizabeth Taylor (Hack) be her daughter?

Thanks, I am now confused. Who is William Rose who shows when I click on the second of the links.
For Elizabeth I wonder if she is Betsy/Betsey. In the Family Bible Betsy is born 25th March 1826 and the Worcestershire Stoke Prior baptism record shows her baptized 16th April 1826. I have never seen her called Elizabeth, when Joseph wrote his Will in 1841 she was called Betsy. However I have never found her on the 1841 Census (or on anything else). I wonder if she disliked her name and decided to change it after her father died. It explains the photos I have of Albert Hack - he presumably her youngest child

The very first link goes to William Rose, he is ancestor of NL ,Gardener and others that has been left as main person because they started the family tree. If a name has been deleted it goes back to him from the original link.

If you look on the links here

And also connected Elizabeth

The links you have added don't work. Who does the Rose family connect to in my Taylor family? It has never been added as a link on previous queries.

Can Betsy remain as Betsy? It is her name and is on the baptism records. Perhaps slash Elizabeth and a note to say that she changed her name from Betsy/Betsey. She is Betsy in the Family Bible and in Joseph Taylor's Will written in 1841 and Betsey in England Select Births and Christenings and Worcestershire, England, Church of England Birth and Baptisms, 1812-1918. My cousin in America, also descended from Joseph and Ann via Nathan would also prefer the name to stay as Betsy/Betsey.

As I have been looking at Connections I noticed that the spouses for Eliza and Philemon are missing. I can raise a new query if necessary but Eliza married John Wiggett (1819-1897) in 1841 and she died in 1883, as far as I know they had 12 children. Philemon married Margaret born c1818 who was from Stirling but I have no more details.

The names are added as they appear on a GRO registered name or if no GRO then
the Baptism name.
That is what has been operated previously on BCC.

Re the Rose family as Grangers has explained when the name is deleted on the given link, then the default name
on link is Wm Rose. Don't worry about that.

Thank you, that makes sense. I am wondering whether she was already calling herself Elizabeth when Joseph named her as Betsy in his Will as she was not at home when the 1841 Census was taken and I have been unable to find her elsewhere.

Thanks. Is it possible to add that Betsey was called Betsy Betsy in the Family Bible and also in Joseph's Will - the writing is quite distinct and I know all the other family members who have done Trees on Ancestry etc, some of whom I am in touch with, use Betsy. Obviously it needs to stay Betsey on Connection because of the Christening records. Other than that everything is fine.
