I have split this from another Topic
Can we find out if the Thomas Homer married to Rachel Hill
is the son of Nehemiah Homer
if so we can join up the tree
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... onnectionswhen did this Thomas Homer die as there appears on trees to be 2 ages at death in 1838?
Can we find any clues as to his parents?
Is he the one born to John Homer and Mary Cooksey?
below is the topic moved ....
Rite Mark
bit concerned where you got that Thomas b 1774 from?
as you have him as the son of Nehemiah Homer and Mary Stevens
we dont have that child
and the entry on igi is a very unsecure submitted not extracted
in order to link we need verification do you have it?
how do you know that Thomas b 1774 married to Rachel hill is son of Nehemiah and Mary stevensthe name Barnett is there which is what Thomas and Rachel call their kid granted...but...
why would he bapt the others at RR
and then go all the way to bilston
might have got work there
there is that gap betw 1773 and 1778
and the name Barnett is there..
hmmmm
what do we think...
anyone following this

we have it from here
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =448907888but we dont have Thomas Cutler and that is the sticking point
who are his parents
I think we can take the line from Thomas and Rachel
as the kids seem to be to a Thomas Homer and Rachel so that marriage looks ok

RACHAEL HILL
THOMAS HOMES
Marriage: 19 OCT 1795 Sedgley, Stafford
I will add this to look ups see who witnesses are
on the 1841 living Dudley Port is Rachel Homer and interestingly next door is
Samuel Cooksey age 75 so b 1766
and in same hsehold age 21 an Emma Hill as a F.s
prob relation of Rachels
I think that strengthens the Cooksey bond
JOHN HOMER

Spouse: MARY COOKSEY

Yes, I had seen the Cooksey neighbours and that is what convinced me that was the line to pursue.

Rite so Mark you are going to ask that guy on the Cutlers and we have a thread for that
and this one.....
I have the marriage down for a look up for Thomas and Rachel
We need that death certif dont we too...
so do you have that?
I think as you do that John Homer and Mary Cooksey are parents
if we had the death cert and it puts dob 1777 I am connecting up this line
If you cant get it Mark I will order that Tipton one
