We have George Wallis/Wallace here
https://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/t ... ver=625698But in 1851 his wife and kids are living at her father's, with no sign of George
There seems to be a trial record that fits
Name George Wallis
Age 32
Estimated Birth Year abt 1815
Date of Trial 8 Apr 1847
Trial Year 1847
Location of Trial Rutland, England
Sentence Imprisonment
and perhaps he was in prison in 1851?
Name Wallis
Age 33
Birth Year (Estimated) 1818
Marital Status Married
Occupation Ag. Lab.
Relationship to Head of Household Prisoner
Event Type Census
Event Date 1851
Event Place Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England
Registration District Aylesbury
Page Number 8
Piece/Folio 1721 / 420
Could someone doublecheck the census to see if it says anything else?
Would that make sense? Prison at Aylesbury if he was sentenced in Rutland?

Thanks Jimmy! The census one must be another then...I did see a baptism in the neck of the woods too.
Mine was baptised at Gilmorton, so that Leicestershire one is a possibility but does not help with the 1851 census

There isn't anything to add really. These prison details etc. belong to a different one I think. Mine is still missing in the 1851 census.
You could just archive this now

I couldn't see George 1851 at all.
I have added the extra bits I saved. That includes the marriage Gardener.
Archive once Gardener says so.
