Birth and Mother's maiden name

Hello,
I have a mystery person turn up in my family tree and I'm not sure who his mother is. His name is Rupert Edward Schneider Hills. His birth registered in December quarter of 1895 in Samford, Suffolk. I'm wondering if his mother had him before she married. Looking for help please as to who his mother might be. Thank you.

Looks like Mary Ann Hills is the mother.

Thank you for your help Jimmy. There are a number of Hill children in the 1891 Census that don't seem to be with their parents in 1901. I wonder if sisters Mary Ann and Hannah Maria Hills both aged 18 in 1891 are twins. Could Hannah be the mother of Rupert rather than Mary Ann?

She could be.
You would need the birth certificate to be sure.

I can't see a baptism, the mother could be 1 of 4.

Hi Jimmy,
Someone sent me a message on Family Search saying the mother was Hannah Hills found on the baptism record on FindmyPast. I don't subscribe to FMP and I can't find a baptism on FS. I gathered Hannah and Mary Ann were twins because I found the birth reg on Freebmd. Thank you as always for helping. Robyn.
