I have been away from the Forum for some time but hope to get back to the Black Country branch of my tree. I would like to offer a connection for Thomas CARTWRIGHT (b1855) (son of Edward CARTWRIGHT and Selina ROLLASON).
Thomas CARTWRIGHT was born on 1 June 1855:

The birth certificate (1855/Births/Dudley/Dudley/No. 165/reg 3/7/1855) shows:
Birth on 1st June 1855 at Hilly Houses, Dudley of Thomas, Boy, son of Edward Cartwright , a Boiler Maker (Foreman), and Selena Cartwright formerly Rollason. The informant was Selena Cartwright, Mother, of Hilly Houses Dudley (mark X).
The 1871 Census shows the CARTWRIGHT family living at 16 Himley Road, Dudley (see BCC). A few houses away at 20 Himley Road was Edward WILKES (b1804) and his family (also see BCC). However, the eldest daughter Elizabeth WILKES (age 21) was at that time working as a Cook, not very far away at Dixon’s Green House, Oakham Road (RG10/3016/25/3/sch12)
Thomas and Elizabeth married on 28 March 1875:

It is noted that BCC shows that Thomas had a sister Mary A.
