Can anyone find Elijah John Hewitt and mother Caroline before and after his marriage

I have sorted Mary Ann Gardner out as her name changed a number of times

All I can see as yet is,

The Edward Dews marriage to Ann Gardner is interesting as all sources have him as Dues rather than Dews

I can't see anything for Elijah or Caroline before marriage.

I wonder who John is? I haven't been able to see anything on Caroline or Elijah, bit odd?
