I'm sorry guys, I wasn't expecting this flurry of activity. I was asked for four names to enter as a worked example so to make the example a bit broader I entered Mary's surname as "unknown" ... it is indeed Phipps as you have correctly identified. I naively thought that the data that I had supplied would just be entered.

I hadn't realise how powerful this forum is or how committed you guys are: I'll not add any further "dubious" information in future ... Promise!

hi alan i saw the unkown thinking you didnt have the info, the topic was for you to add your family to connection, but some of them get added to if we think it may help you in your research. pete
