NL and I have said now for ages we must all meet up somewhere. So I thought of arranging a day out to the BC Museum, either late September or early October before the Winter gets here. Anyone who lives near enough is invited, will be a great opportunity to get back to your roots and see how our Ancestors lived. Please send me a PM if you would like to come and we can arrange a day. You are invited as well Mike, you are not that far away in Walsall :!: Best Wishes from Linell.

Great idea Linell
I went there last week with our children and grandchildren (third time this year) and I never tire of the place!

For those that have never been, it's a must! See here ...gallery/album.php?album_id=12

No...HOOPLA was a game played with rubber rings and a board with hooks on.

This game was first played with an old car tyre or bicycle wheel rim and a stick, but cant for the life of me
remember the name we called it!!
