I was on holiday with my family at Butlins in Minehead this week and we had to evacuate at around 8pm last night. Lots of families bundling semi asleep children into cars including us. Anyone else had problems?

Yes definitely a holiday to remember, everyone was safe just tired from loosing a nights sleep.
I nearly ended up on evaluation alert again on Sunday, I live round the corner from where the River Mersey is in Didsbury and it burst its banks. Luckily I am far enough away on the second floor of a block of retirement apartments not to be affected but some people did have to evacuate. I spent my student days in a different part of Didsbury only about ten minutes walk away and didn't know the River Mersey was in the area.
