I’m trying to trace the birth details of my great great great grandparents, Thomas Guest & Mary.

I’ve found the death certificate of Mary Guest showing she died on 3 August 1866 at the residence of her eldest son Thomas aged 93.
The census of 1851 & 1861 show her ages at 77 & 87 so consistent with her death age giving a possible birth mid 1773. Census gives birth as Gornal & Sedgley.

All children were born at St Thomas Dudley between 1797 & 1814.
Two of the children, Mary & my great great father Joseph have the second forename of Whitehouse.

The only marriage I can find of Thomas Guest in the preceding period is to Mary Whitehouse (second clue) but this was in Harborne, some 10 miles away.

The only clue to Thomas is that he was a bricklayer. He died before 1841, the only Thomas Guest burial in Dudley from 1814-1841 was in 1824 aged 60.

Any help or corroboration much appreciated.
Guest & Whitehouse were very common names in the Dudley/ Sedgley area.
