Just want to share this with you see if you can enlighten me on how to find this person

On the 1881 census of my George Henry Williams (as it is written on the census but should be Williamson)

I have an elusive Harriet Williamson Born abt 1867 Tipton, Staffordshire age 14. On the census she is the Niece of my George Henry, now i have traced back 4 of my George's brother and none have a child called Harriet.

In the past we have traced the family back to 1841 onwards, and with the census i have confirmation of most of the children listed, but none have a Harriet.

Could i be missing a brother? if so how would i find him if he is not on any of the census

Is this a red herring? do we have the 1861 details already?

1861 West Bromwich Union Workhouse

Ann Williamson 6 Dudley
George Williamson 2 West Bromwich

It could account for why John and Sarah came back to the BC
