Do you remember Woodstock?

So 39 years ago it was flower power and Groovy man everywhere
I remember our school held a stage production and we did Woodstock revisited
for some awful reason I was one of the dancers dressed in a Marks and Spencers turquoise crimpolene
trouser suit, and black patent shoes thinking I looked fab!
It was one of those situations where you think you look really cool and that you are a great dancer
so the music comes on and instead of flowing to the melodic beat you end up doing a hippie hippie shake in
the style of a heavy metal head banger!
I made an absolute spectacle of meself much to the amusement of the whole school
What were you like then
were you a hippie
or still a 60's worshipper

If I can remember it then you can too!
You aint that young!!
it was sort of the last throws of the 60's wasnt it before the glam rock cut in
which I hated
in fact I thought the 70's music apart from a few was awful

I think you have good taste Rob, I remember Jefferson Airplane and Ten Years After, brilliant. Who else played at Woodstock, Jimi Hendrix, or was that the Isle of Wight? Linell.
