I'm not disagreeing with you but am fascinated by the change of occupation for John - nailer to agr lab and then head hay cutter at that time of life is quite a jump.

I have done the marriage for this one and it checks out but goodness knows why her name is Hibbins on the cert!
still think it is mis heard by the person entering the details
unless Betsy between 1861 and 1871 married a Hibbins
is there a Betsy evans marrying a Hibbins?
Also can we find Samuel mountfield and wife (presume) Elizabeth on the 1861
she is living with betsy in 71 and 81

Had a look for Betsy Evans marriage to a Hibbins on West Midlands and Free BMD and can't find one between the dates 1861 - 1871.

I have been sat here saying evans in a thick black country accent
then got Wolvie to say it and bingo
he is thick and got a thick black country accent and it sounds like Hibbens
esp if you have had a bit of the alter wine
anyone got Samuel and Elizabeth yet
i need to add that Elizabeth as the mother for Betsey
and interestingly Hannah Evans was the witness
