Alfred Taylor married Maud M Johnson st Giles 1904
can anyone find him on the census

Do you have an approximate age for him Suki? If so you should be able to find him on the 1901 Census.

Maud was born about 1880 and is on the 1881 census so I would guess he would be about the same age say 21 -24 when he got married

I think Alfred's parents may be Thomas Taylor Rivet maker and Mary Anne nailer ? 1881c age 3yr living 65 Birmingham St brother William 3mths

This is correct I have looked up the marriage and am adding it now

can we find this Thomas Taylor on the census son alfred wife Mary ann
before the one above
so we can find his dob
as there is one on which may or may not be him

also a marriage for Thomas Taylor and Mary Ann
she is I presume the mother of Alfred

If you add this info you can build on the 1891 census info
but check none of them already on will you please

I have put what I have deduced
found in igi's a marriage at St Thomas's 28th may 1876 says Ester Winsor or Raybould and John Foster
needs a look up really to see if Raybould is the maiden name
Trying to find a conection between Gadds and Taylors were Maud Johnson and Alfred Taylor related!!!???

Seems this may be a bit complicated. May be wrong mind but...
