*Completed* -1 or 2 Eleanor Woodcock's on BCC ?

I am in the process of joining BCC and have realised that I need to add Eleanor Woodcock but is she the same one as is already mentioned .

The facts I have

Marriage certificate:
14 April 1857 at St Edmunds Church, Dudley
Josiah Hackett, Full, Bachelor, Horsenail maker, Dudley, father James Hackett, Carter
Eleanor Woodcock, Full, Spinster, Dudley, father John Woodcock, Miner
Witnesses: x George Johnson, Eliza Johnson

I used Ancestry and traced her back using Ancestry with various spellings to the family of siblings stated on BCC but being new and not wanting to spoil the whole thing on my first attempt wondered whether anyone could back up my findings.

1861 census (ie first one after marriage)
Josiah Hackett, 24, Horse Nail Maker,Rowley
Ellen Hackett, 27, Dudley
George Hackett, 3, Rowley
Prudence Hackett, 1,Rowley

Any thoughts please?

Here on Bcc are the 2 that may or may not need joining up...tbc..

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =575014148

and then an Eleanor with Josiah Hackett
I have added that marriage info Mg

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =575014148

so the 1851 census would be good see where living etc is John a miner onthat census

I think they may be one and the same

does she have a sister called Eliza...the marriage witness
that would swing it

1854
Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference
JOHNSON George WOODCOCK Eliza Dudley, St Edmund Dudley Register Office 201/002/197

Mg add that census will you to the notes of the head of the household ie Josiah
always useful

if you put it in like this below and add the address please

1861 census
Josiah Hackett, 24, Horse Nail Maker,Rowley
Ellen Hackett, 27, Dudley
George Hackett, 3, Rowley
Prudence Hackett, 1,Rowley

that way you get the line breaks and it looks good to read

Hi all, I think the two Eleanor's on BCC are the same. Eliza Johnson Marriage Witness to Eleanor's Marriage, is she Eleanor's sister? Linell.

Thanks for your support Linell.

NL and I are thinking Eliza is Eleanor's sister as NL has found a marriage Eliza Woodcock and George Johnson in 1854.

Hi Maths Girl I found my Charles in 1861:-

Elbow Street Old Hill
William Woodcock 31
Sarah 26 (think she was Sarah Johnson)
Charles 7
Agnes 5
Frank 3
Kate 1

Next door at the Kings Head is Joseph Johnson aged 53 and Elizabeth aged 52. I presume they are Sarah's parents :?:

So William is the son of John Woodcock and Ann Barnsley, and sister to your Eleanor I think :?:

Will go and check this out. Linell.
