Hello, I am new to the family history hobbie, and still find it difficult not going off on a tangent when i find a piece of information. I need to be more focussed. My interests are around Netherton, Dudley, Pensnett and Kingwinford. Not living in the area makes it more difficult but i am hoping to spend a day in the area soon.
I am having real difficulty with trying to find the mother of Sarah Jane Jones who married John Jones in1884, she is burried at St. Marks Pensnett so I will be trying to find her birth date to send for a certificate.
I also hve some confusion with a William Lepdad/Leopard who married a Rozetta Rolinson on 10.2.1851 but he subsequently changed his name to Guest, why I don't know, he was living in Dudley at the time. So I have plenty to get stuck into, just as well with the weather!!
Nessa

Hi Nessa, welcome to the Forum. What was the dob for Sarah Jane Jones? We can have a look for you. As for your Mr Leopard who changed his name to Guest, have seen the name Leopard somewhere? Will have a search for them. Best Wishes from Linell.

The witnesses were William Henry Jones and the mark of RosannaJohnston.do you know who else is in the grave at pensnett ?
unknown
could do with fathers names
John Jones father was Thomas a carpenter living in Dudley
Sarah Jane Jones was Joseph Jones living in Dudley he was a miner
and bride and groom ages so we can look on censuses
Haven't got exact dates both born around 1862
