The marriage info you have is the wrong date mumbles...
That's Joseph? Do you mean his father? We could do with some census of Joseph...

I do not think John was born Oldham Hampshire but Odiham as no such place as Oldham Hampshire
I have corrected 1841 Census
John Lewis is on 1861 Census living with his dau Ruth and her husband William Wheale and says born Hampshire

Checked marriage on Freereg and it looks alright
Also added Census details you have provided but not added children yet as I think
Joseph Lewis is on twice also

Sorry I didn't explain myself well, if you could check the date of marriage for John Lewis and Sarah Messenger. That date is wrong by at least a 100 years mumbles...

Amended wedding date.
I have checked some others I put on at same time as I fell and cut my ear and banged head and ended up in A.E. at 4 a.m.
They told me not to use computer or drive for 48 hours and I am ok now but have 7 stitches in ear and a face that looks like I have done a round with Mike Tyson
