Waiting for Certificate from GRO

it's now 5 weeks since I ordered a birth Certificate, is anyone else waiting?

not issuing them as they have too much on with covid 19 as i understand from other genealogy Facebook pages

they will post them when they go quite, they prioritise things and family history not a priority if you need to bury someone

Our daughter lost hers... 
She needed it for a job, it took more than 6 weeks to arrive. That was local office not GRO. Any way she lost that opportunity! Another has turned up though starts Monday!! (bright side
