I don't think this is correct....father on marriage is a John Kite

but can't work it out...

also Ephraim has father on marriage as Samuel Kite...

its a right mess...and need help pls

Jane seems to have 2 sons and dau...as on Bcc

Perhaps they were all Janes children with different fathers. My husbands mother and sister were illegitimate with different fathers.

what you need is the 1871 census for jane is


1861 Bull fields Rowley Regis
Jane Kite head unm 32 nailer
Ephraim Kite son 12 unm nailer
All born Rowley Regis
note next door but one is James Bray whom Jane marries in 1872

1871 Blackberry Town Rowley Regis
Ephraim Kite head unm 21 labourer at furnace
Samuel Kite brother 7 scholar
Jane Kite sister 4
All born Rowley Regis
