It's the chop for the Knife!

The cruellest cut of all!

according to a report the dining etiquette is no more the knife is being sidelined
to the cutlery drawer as more and more people use their fork to cut and eat their food

:o :(

Well I think it is appalling!
I hate it when you are out and someone uses just their fork to cut and then spear their food!

What do you all think?
Sharp comments only please

Well Jimmy the cat you may think it is armless!

but surely it is one step to eating with our fingers!
I think a fork and knife is very important
as is no elbows on the table

and eating with ones mouth closed

ooooh another thing is when people have say a burger on there fork and
eat it all off there! the whole thing you know don't cut it up

dreadful

Actually have to hold my hands up cos we do tend to eat off trays in front of the TV
which to be honest I can't stand but it drowns the noise of Wolvies clicking jaw!
 :o

I suppose you drink out of cups, when I was young the cups were for grown ups, me and my 9 brothers and sisters had to drink out of jam jars.

You had cups Jimmy  We only had cupped hands!!
Actually i only use a knife to cut the meat and then i lay it on the table and proceed to eat with my fork.
Saw it in an American fim once when i was a kid and i thought that's cool and i've eaten that way ever since!!
Easily influenced you are thinking? Maybe, but hey there are worse things.

Oh and don't think i missed your remarks Northern Lassie

Hello eveyone while I can claim to be occasionally not up to scratch in my dining etiquette,
I also have to hold my hand up that my jaw occasionally clicks, however, this is involuntary,
whereas a certain Northern Lass, who shall remain nameless  puts me to shame
not so much by her clicking jaw, but by the constant movement of her jaw! which is the closest I have found
to perpetual motion!!

So I am reminded of the saying about people in glass houses
thats all for now
