Maud died in 1912, and 2 further children were born: Mary in August 1912 and William in December 1914 (William died 27th August 1915

Killed in Action on Friday, 4th August 1916, age 29.
Commemorated on Pier and Face 13 A and 13 B of Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
